Tallow GAA notes sponsored by Goalpost Ireland.

Senior Hurling League: Tallow 0-11 Roanmore 0-18.

A nice breeze blew down the field from the top goals down to the bottom one. Roanmore started the brighter but a few wides on their part kept us in touch in the opening ten minutes. At half time we had turned it around and lead at half time eight points to five energized by the O'Brien brothers displays . In the second half we were overpowered and ended up loosing by a seven point margin.

Cois Bhride U15.

St Pats 2-11 Cois Bhride 3-14.

A slow start that could be put down to casualness or a lacklustre warm up meant Cois Bhride never really got up to the tempo we expected of them here. Darragh O'Brien opened our goal scoring as pounced on a ball to the left of the square to pull to the net. His fellow corner man Shay Pratt had a chance five minutes later but his effort went outside the post. A long range free was misjudged by the St. Pats defence and Conor claimed a goal. He was fouled with five minutes to go in the half and his trajectory of the flight of the ball never wavered as the ball arrowed over from eighty metres. As the second half developed as a lower scoring half, the performance of Harvey Hagan stood out as he won 50 50 ball, 40 60 and 30 70. He ran himself into the ground and worked tirelessly until the final whistle.

Team Billy Murphy, Gearóid Hynes, Jack Henley, Keith Martin, Harvey Hagan, Ben Grey, Taylor Toohig, Joe McDonnell, Stephen Murphy, Paul Henley, Conor Henley, Danny Power, Shay Pratt, Aidan Murphy, Darragh O'Brien. Subs used Ben Sheehan and Alex Good.
