Notaí CLG Tulach an Iarainn sponsored by McGrath's chemist.

World Games : The World Games came to Waterford at the weekend and Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Tulach an Iarainn had the honor our hosting a German team. They arrived shortly after seven thirty on Thursday. A decent crowd had assembled and they watched the Cois Bhride under twelves play a hurling game amougst themselves. Shaun O'Sullivan had them trying to hit the cross bar in hurling while Seán Gleeson had them doing likewise in football. They devoured what food was available in the club house. It is great to see the GAA culture expand to non natives while it will never over take one's native games it can help those emigrated Irish have a small bit of connection to home while they play for their adopted teams.

Junior Football : We play Geraldines in the league section of the championship in Lismore at 12pm on Sunday next. I'm sure they would appreciate the support.

Tallow Lotto : As appreciation of their continous sponsorship of the GAA lotto for nineteen years and counting the club through chairman Terence McSweeney gave Bernie and Mick Kearney a presentation on the night.
