Junior Hurling Championship:

Tallow face Fourmilewater in the western semi-final of the junior hurling (B) in Cappoquin on Thursday evening @ 7 30. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Senior Hurling Championship:

Our senior hurlers will meet near neighbours Ballyduff next in the senior hurling championship. This is scheduled for the week-end of 12th August.

U21 Hurling Championship

The u21 hurlers are drawn against Comeragh Gaels in the Western semi –final of the u21A championship. This game is scheduled for August 3rd at 7 in the Fraher Field. The date, just a week before senior championship, is far from ideal from a Tallow point of view. There would appear to be plenty of gaps in the calendar to slot this fixture in at a more appropriate time. All senior teams would like to have their full panel together on the week-end before championship and very few if any would be playing challenge games let alone championship.

U21 Football (B) County Final:

We meet Portlaw/Ballyduff in the U21 County final. This game was postponed originally and we haven’t received a new date as yet.

Stewards Appeal:

There is a severe shortage of match stewards for championship games at the moment. The Western Board has asked all clubs to provide at least two stewards on a rota basis to be available to steward at Western venue games. If any of our members are willing to help out with this matter please contact either Lindsay Murphy (Runai) , Liam Mulcahy (Cathaoirleach) or any committee member.

Cois Bhride:

Congratulations to Cois Bhride u 15 hurlers who defeated who defeated Brickey Rangers 3-15 to 3-07 in the Western Final on Saturday.
