Age: 23

Height: 180cm

Weight: 87kg

Favourite venue in the county you played on: Fraher Field on a good summers evening you can't beat it

Favourite venue outside the county you've played on: Semple Stadium, once ever

What positions have you played for Tallow? Everywhere bar in Goal, started off as a forward slowly made my way back the field

Has the game changed in any way since you starting playing? Yes, the biggest change for me is the old fashion big full forward has gone from the game every team has a fast fella in every position of the full forward line these days

Do you bring many hurleys to games? 3 Favourite make of football boot? Adidas Long or short grip and would you have a colour or manufacturer favourite? Long grip with 3 inch's cut off it!! I would have to have the same colour grip on all my hurleys. Toughest game you played in? Any game VS Ballygunner. no matter what day or weather they are a serious machine Hardest opponent in training? Fada!! I think half the county would agree Have you got many scores in championship? Once in 7 years, I think that is why I slowly drifted back the field How long have you got your helmet? I have it 7 years but its seen a lot of senior hurling before I got it. Paul Kearney wore it for a number of years and my Uncle James before him back in the 80s with no face guard !This is your second lock down year. How hard is to train in isolation? Training isn't the tough part its finding the motivation to go and do it is the toughest part. You have started up a fitness venture? How important is the industry to a modern hurler? I think it's one of the most important things for injury prevention in the amateur game. If a player is working as a full time farmer and they pull a muscle playing a game that is them out of training and work for a number of weeks.

There is a lot of panting and blowing in your demonstration videos... What's going on? That's just for show !!!

What do you do in the off season? A lot of walks. Getting out into the fresh air as often as possible

Do you play any other sports or have an interest in ones you don't play? Through the years I've tried my hand at every sport for now GAA is my only focus as a player. My interest in every sport and the physical demands of all sports started at a very young age and led me down the career path I am on now .

Pairc Eamonn De Paor: Closed since Christmas , how great it will be to see some activity below in our fields. It will be superb to see a sliothar or a football hit of kicked about with smile on the youth of the place. We all hope that it will be the final time the grounds will have to be locked.
