    • Lesson Essential Question:How can spreadsheets be used to communicate data effectively?

I will be able to:

    • Copy a table from a word document to a spreadsheet and edit it.

    • Add Data to your table with Hyperlinks

    • Modify my tables appearance

Directions:

1. Open Word Processing Activity 6. The research table you created with hyperlinks.

2. Select your table and copy it.

3. Open Excel 2013. Click Cell A1 and Paste.

4. Clean up: You will now need to do some cleaning up.

Drag and drop to eliminate any rows that didn't populate with data.

Drag your columns wider to you can see all the Data

Click all your rows at the far left so the whole row is selected. You can now drag the width of each row and have them all be the same size.

You may need to merge and un-merge cells.

Change the size of your title to 22

Select your table and make sure you have borders around each cell of your table.5. Add Five more bits of information with the answer, and source page. Make sure the source page is a hyperlink just as the other 10 are. The process of making a hyperlink is the same in Excel. Go to Insert Tab and look for Hyperlink.

6. Save as Activity 2 and Hand in to Haiku
