Instructions:

We will be using a web-based program known as WeVideo. Yes, it is a Video Editor, it can also be used to edit your audio. As a web-based program, your work will be saved online and you can create projects that can be edited by your group member in the event someone is absent or you choose to work on the project at home on your chrome book.*Use this link to go to WeVideo and sign in using your school's Google account. Then click the create new edit button. *The format doesn't matter because we are more interested in audio editing. Select widescreen and then Click start editing to continue. *Your teacher will go over the controls and what is expected of you for this practice and what to expect when you use WeVideo for your Pod-Cast. All seven files that you need are in your Google Drive Digital Literacy Folder. *Click the folder with the star and then the green cloud icon to upload your files. Select the google drive icon and locate the files in your Digital Literacy Folder.

* If needed, Download the audio clips below or locate them in your Google Drive Digital Literacy folder.

Use this link to download the Pod-Cast Image to use as the video.

*You will then need to drag the audio clips down to the timeline in the correct order. The order listed above is the order you want.

*When you are ready to edit out the coughing and umm, you will need to split the clips before and after what you want to cut. You will then be able to delete the coughing or umm.

Your Final Project will need

*Have all the audio clips assembled in the correct order listed above with the edits performed to the needed clips. You will also need to click on the audio tab and in the Premium Music folder, choose a song to go in Audio Track 2. You will need to create a second audio track. Make sure you adjust the audio level so you can still hear the story.

*When you are done, locate and click Finish. Select the google drive icon and then finish. Your finished project will then be in your google drive to be handed into Haiku.
