Choose one of the Careers that fit your Interest and Preparation level. Present to the school a flyer that showcases the information regarding the details of that career. You are using pictures and interesting facts to encourage others to pursue that career. Use O*Net to search for more information about the career of your choice.

Your assignment is to create a flyer for a career of your choice that would be displayed and or handed out to visitors during a job fair.

Printed or drawn on an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper, this flyer will be displayed outside the classroom. Your flyer must include the following information: Name of the career, What they do, On the job they would, a listing of the types of skills and abilities needed, and the outlook on the job in regards to bright or average. In addition to the information above, pictures must be present to showcase the career in action. Your pictures can't be larger than 1/3 of the column or page. People are more interested in the information than what the job "looks like" so pictures should showcase the career and not dominate your flyer's surface.Along with the flyer, you need to hand in a statement that recommends the career to others. The statement can be handed in as a google doc with your digital picture or copy and pasted to the message of your hand in. Your recommendation must be at least four complete sentences. The inspiration for your recommendation could come from your O*Net career interest assessment. Drawing and writing your Flyer: Your teacher can provide paper and a class folder to store your work. You need to be responsible to bring your own art materials. If there is a picture or text you would like your teacher to print, It will need to be saved to your Digital Literacy Google folder. The individual file then needs to be shared so your teacher can print it during class.

Digital Computer Flyer: You may use Google Docs, MS Word, MS Paint, 3D Paint, or Adobe programs. You are responsible for saving your work and be sure you are doing it when not working with Google Docs.
