Lucy was so disappointed when we said we couldn’t go up to visit Ibrahim that Peter decided to volunteer to take her on his own, leaving me and Jonah for a couple of days. They’re going to travel up tomorrow evening and come back on Thursday morning. I don’t know what Peter will make of an Islamic celebration – he doesn’t always feel at home in ordinary church services, but I think this will all be at home – more of a party than anything else, as far as I can tell from what Ibrahim has said.
