We've had an unexpected email from Ibrahim - one of the students from the apartment next to ours in Portugal - inviting us all to visit his family in Darwen to celebrate Eid (the end of Ramadn, in case you didn't know). It's on Wednesday, so it's rather short notice. Lucy is very excited at the idea, and so is Jonah in his own way, but he doesn't think he can take more time off work seeing as we've just been away for a week and he's booked another week for while we're up in Liverpool in August.
