Jonah has persuaded us all to visit a garden tomorrow. It’s in Bourne End in Buckinghamshire – about thirty miles away. He’s claiming that it’s just a nice day out and a way of contributing to charity, because it’s open under the National Gardens Scheme. He doesn’t fool anyone! It’s really that he’s found out that it’s owned by the parents of a witness who might know something about the men whom we think were behind the acid attack in Liverpool. He’s a student at Liverpool John Moores and his father and mother are a garden designer and an interior designer respectively. I just hope that we don’t just happen to bump into him while we’re admiring the herbaceous borders!
