We had a good “family conference”, with Ruth and Joey making friends with Abdul and Tahmina. I think Ruth was surprised to discover that they have both lived in England all their lives and dress and behave just like her own friends. She even shared an old family recipe with Tahmina, they got on so well! Fingers crossed, I think this is all going to work out OK.
Oh! And in other news, the acid attack case is now closed and the culprit has been charges with murder, attempted murder and hate crimes.
