Anna’s baby was born today. It feels like a big coincidence that she should share Richard’s birthday, but of course these things happen all the time. Lucy’s made a quilt for her. I don’t know where she finds the time, what with schoolwork and football and caring for Jonah. Peter’s promised to take her round at the weekend, when they’re a bit more settled.
