I don’t think we’ll be waiting up to see in the New Year. One past midnight bedtime in a month is enough for is enough for me! Our main concern as far as marking the end of another decade is concerned is getting Lucy’s two cats inside for the night in case anyone sets of any fireworks.
Now that Kenny’s murder has been solved, Jonah has at last agreed to taking some time off to relax. We all went to the park with Eddie and the kids this afternoon. Ricky has a new bicycle, which he’s determined to learn to ride so that he can go out with Granddad on his own. At the moment, he can only cycle on the trailer attached to the back of Eddie’s bike. Abigail kept trying to sneak a turn, but her legs aren’t long enough to reach the pedals yet.
