It's Jonah's birthday tomorrow - his 60th, which means that, not only do we have the usual problem of what present to get for the man who has everything he wants, but we also have to put up with his grumpiness over his retirement! He managed to swing it so that he doesn't actually finish work until the end of the month, which means that we're going in for his last day on Monday. (HR are insisting that he takes his remaining day of leave before he goes, whch means that he'll be off on Tuesday.) I've seen Anna and Andy whispering together, so I think they're plotting some sort of surprise for our last day - which moast likely means that we won't get much work done. Still - the main thing is that, against the odds, we managed to clear up Jonah's case of the homophobic attacks before he left. He'd have been like a bear with a sore hed if he'd had to leave it as unfinished business.
