I took Jonah over to St Alban's this afternoon to see Nathan and Georgia. Their baby is due any time now, so there's a lot of eager anticipation going on. jonah even permitted Nathan to carry him upstairs to see the nursery - usually, if there's no lift he prefers to stay downstairs rather than suffer the indignity. Afterwards, I overheard Georgia telling Nathan that they ought to think about adaptations to make the house more welcoming to him. So far theyve been concentrating on making it baby-friendly and I think she was a bit taken aback at how difficult itwas for Jonah with no downstairs toilet and some fo hte doorways too narrow for his chair.
