Peter sneaked off to St Cyprian’s while we were at church this morning. He sat in on the mass and then went back to the presbytery for a chinwag with Father Damien. We only found out because we rang him on his mobile when we got home and he wasn’t here. It ended up with Father Damien coming back with him for lunch and then the two of them going off for a long walk together.
Lucy reckons it’s all to do with the Madonnna and Child statue that they’ve got in St Cyprian’s. She says Peter was very taken with it when they went round there to light candles for Abigail’s safe return. It seems very odd. Peter’s never taken any interest in Art or anything like that before.
