Lucy has gone off to her interview at Lichfield College. We're all on tentahooks to see how she does, but we won't hear anything until tomorrow, because she (reluctantly) took my advice and is staying in college overnight between the two days of the interviews. Things are likely to be in a bit of a mess, as it turns out, with some interview candidates being prevented from getting here by the snow. Although Oxford is in one of the worst affected areas, at least Lucy didn't have far to go! She walked it in the end, having admitted that it wasn't safe to cycle and not trusting the buses to be running.
