Tory MPS are trowing their hats into the ring as potential leadership candidates. Half of them I've never even heard of! Rishi Sunak has made a campaign video (which people are speculating must have been done in advance of Boris's resiganation - and possibly even of Rishi's own - to have been ready so soon) in the nauseating style of an American presidential braodacast, which has made him go down in my estimation. Jeremy Hunt is apparently being urged to step forward. He's become popular recently by advocating more support for the NHS, but I don't remember him doing so well back in the days when he was the actual Health Minister under David Cameron. It's difficult to decide which of them would be the least bad option!
