Stan and Sylvia's new mobile broadband wifi router has come. I've set it up here and it's working OK with my old laptop. I just hope their house has a decent signal. In normal times, they could have had fibre-to-the-cabinet installed, but Openreach couldn't book an appointment to install it until Lockdown is over. The account is in my name and I'm paying. Stan doesn't like that, but I'm afraid if I left it to them, he'd cancel the contract as soon as thigns got difficult. As with all new technology, there's a steep learnign curve to get over before you see the benefits.
I'll drop all the kit off with them on Thursday when I do their shopping.
