Roasted Portobello Mushrooms

Base Ingredients

• portobello mushrooms (whole)
• olive oil

Garlic-Roasted Ingredients

• balsamic vinegar
• garlic (minced)
• parsley
• sea salt

Teriyaki Ingredients

• 2 parts soy sauce
• 1 part sugar
• 1 part water
• a little bit of minced garlic
• a little bit of minced ginger
• corn starch (dissolved in double its volume of water)
• sesame seeds, toasted (for garnish)

To Prepare

1. For teriyaki: heat sauce ingredients until sugar is dissolved and cornstarch thickened
2. Mix all ingredients (garlic or teriyaki with base) to taste
3. Allow mushrooms to marinate for an hour
4. Wrap mushrooms in foil packet, place in oven, and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes
