Berry Topping
Ingredients
- 3 cups blueberries / strawberries
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (or water)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
To Prepare
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer; cook until berries break down and desired thickness achieved.
- Let cool, then (if not using immediately) refrigerate, covered, until cold.
