Ingredients

  • 3 cups blueberries / strawberries
    • ⅓ cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (or water)
    • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

To Prepare

    1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer; cook until berries break down and desired thickness achieved.
    2. Let cool, then (if not using immediately) refrigerate, covered, until cold.
