Pepperoni Cheese Rolls

Ingredients

    • 1 pkg (24 count) Rhodes Texas Rolls
    • pepperoni, sliced
    • colby jack cheese (or any cheese of your choice), sliced

To Prepare

    1. Flatten each roll to roughly pancake size
    2. Place four slices of pepperoni on the roll, then a slice of cheese, then four more slices of pepperoni
    3. Roll, pressing the dough together at the sides and ends.
    4. Place seam side down on greased jellyroll pan
    5. Grease the top of the rolls
    6. Raise 2 hours on the kitchen counter
    7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.

Variation

    • To make vegetarian rolls: replace the peperroni with a mixture of sautéed onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and spinach
