Ingredients
4 eggs
90g all-purpose flour
180g milk (or plant-based milk)
1T sugar (for the sweet version; omit if making savory)
garlic and/or herbs, chopped (for the savory version; omit if making sweet)
Pinch of salt
To Prepare
Oil a 10-inch skillet or baking dish, place it in the oven, and preheat to 230C / 450F.
Whisk together or blend all ingredients until smooth.
Once the skillet is fully heated, add the batter and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the Dutch baby from the pan, cut into wedges, and serve at once. Top with your choice of sweets (e.g. fruit, honey, syrup, nuts) or savories (e.g. mushrooms, parma ham, cheese, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes)
