You can make these ahead of time and freeze them. When you are ready to bake them, just let them thaw and rise at room temperature.

Ingredients

    • 1 small box butterscotch pudding & pie filling
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 stick margarine, melted (or squeeze butter)
    • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
    • 1 24-count bag frozen Rich’s rolls

To Prepare

    1. Let rolls soften, then cut each one into 2 pieces (if you are using a 13x9 pan) or 4 pieces (if you are using a tube pan)
    2. Refreeze the rolls until the the night before serving
    3. Remove rolls from freezer and place in a greased pan
    4. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and pudding mix
    5. Sprinkle mixture over the frozen rolls
    6. Pour melted margarine (or squeeze butter) over the rolls
    7. Cover pan with greased wax paper and let rise overnight (perhaps starting around 11PM)
    8. Bake 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes
    9. Remove from oven, invert onto serving dish

Variation

You can use lemon, vanilla, or chocolate pudding mixes. If you do, omit the cinnamon and brown sugar and use 1½ cups white sugar.
