You can make these ahead of time and freeze them. When you are ready to bake them, just let them thaw and rise at room temperature.
Ingredients
- 1 small box butterscotch pudding & pie filling
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 stick margarine, melted (or squeeze butter)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 24-count bag frozen Rich’s rolls
To Prepare
- Let rolls soften, then cut each one into 2 pieces (if you are using a 13x9 pan) or 4 pieces (if you are using a tube pan)
- Refreeze the rolls until the the night before serving
- Remove rolls from freezer and place in a greased pan
- Combine sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and pudding mix
- Sprinkle mixture over the frozen rolls
- Pour melted margarine (or squeeze butter) over the rolls
- Cover pan with greased wax paper and let rise overnight (perhaps starting around 11PM)
- Bake 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes
- Remove from oven, invert onto serving dish
Variation
You can use lemon, vanilla, or chocolate pudding mixes. If you do, omit the cinnamon and brown sugar and use 1½ cups white sugar.
