Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

    • 6 slices bread
    • 6 eggs, beaten
    • 2 cups half and half
    • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1½ cup shredded cheese
    • butter

To Prepare

    1. Remove crusts from bread
    2. Spread bread with butter
    3. Place bread in greased 13x9 dish, set aside
    4. Pan-fry sausage until browned and crumbled, drain well
    5. Spoon sausage over bread slices, sprinkle with cheese
    6. Combine eggs, half and half, and salt, then pour over cheese
    7. Cover and refrigerate over night
    8. Remove from frig 15 minutes before baking
    9. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes @ 350 degrees
