This is my favorite Cajun/creole spice mix, mercilessly pillaged from Chuck Taggart's Creole and Cajun Recipe Page.
Ingredients
- 2 T onion powder
- 2 T garlic powder
- 2 T dried oregano
- 2 T dried sweet basil
- 1 T dried thyme
- 1 T black pepper
- 1 T white pepper
- 1 T cayenne pepper
- 1 T celery seed
- 5 T paprika
To Prepare
Mix it all up! The original recipe involved salt, but I prefer to control the salt level separately (since the food you are adding it to might already be salty, or at least partially salty).
