Ingredients
- 6 oz of Vanilla Jell-O Instant Pudding and Pie Filling mix
- 4 cups cold milk (or soy milk)
- 16 oz sour cream
- 24 oz Kraft Cool Whip (chilled, but no longer frozen; Gray sometimes uses 16 oz instead)
- 5-6 just-ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 box Vanilla Wafers (for a Serradura variation, blend the wafers in a food processor to make "sawdust")
To Prepare
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until thick
- Fold in the sour cream, mix thoroughly
- Fold in the Cool Whip, mix thoroughly
- In a serving dish (or storage container, like the original Cool Whip tubs), alternate layers of pudding, sliced bananas, and vanilla wafers
- Tip: Slice the bananas as you create your layers, or make sure they are sprinkled with lemon juice, to make sure they don't turn dark
- Chill for a few hours before serving
