Hemi & Hector went to their uncle's farm for the weekend. While they were there watching the horses they noticed there were roosters in the paddock too. Hemi counted the legs they could see: there were 22. Hector counted the heads they could see: there were 8. Then they ran back to the house to tell Mum what they counted. Clever Mum. She listened to the number of heads and the number of legs and worked out the number of animals of each type in the paddock.
Now you try to work out the number of each animal.
