  • Watch the video ‘get out of my house’

  • Follow instructions in the video

  • Draw up the board on to a piece of paper

  • Find 7 items to use on your board

  • Have a go at using addition first and then subtraction

  • If you do not have a pack of cards, use the online cards link

  1. Using the image above, take a look at the value of each letter. ‘A’ has the lowest value of $1 while ‘Z’ has the highest of $26.

  2. Explore the values of some words of your choice.

  3. What is the highest value word you can think of?

  4. What is the value of your first names? What about full names?


Submit your smallest but most expensive word to Mr Cherrington, winner receives a prize!

- Use the metronome to help you keep your beat. You can choose your own speed...

- Use 16 musical notes from the video to create a beat

- Write the musical notes

- Record your beat and post on dojo
