Have a look through the different questions on the google slide.
Choose at least TWO of these problems to solve. (Make sure you write down the title of the task you are completing so your teacher knows which problem you are trying to solve.)
Read through each question carefully.

To write appropriate and creative captions for photos.
How can I make sure I am successful?
I can give each photo a creative caption.
My captions make sense and appropriate for the photo.
I am using AT LEAST one full sentence to describe the photo.
I am using proper punctuation.
Activity description/steps:
A caption is a comment or title that goes with a picture.
Your job is to create a caption for each of the 5 photos in the google slide. (The first slide shows some examples).
Make sure you use AT LEAST one full sentence to caption the photo. You can use more than one sentence to caption the photo if you would like.
Don’t forget to be creative, use full sentences and proper punctuation!

Read the example piece of writing.
Think about your own observations and experiences with Sports, Music and Art.
Create a list of pro's and con's around Sports and then Music and Art.
Decide what your stance is on the argument.
Commence writing using paragraphs, persuasive language.
The GOAL is to have the reader agree with your point of view!

Activity description/steps:
For a lot of people in New Zealand right now, being locked in our homes can make us feel a bit strange. Lots of us might feel sad, lonely or a bit confused.
We can’t always choose what happens in life, but we can choose how we feel. Practicing being thankful for the things we do have is an awesome way to keep a positive mindset.

Write your own list of reasons that you can be thankful today.
Share the list of things you are thankful for with your whānua and your teacher.
