*I have at least 3 clear paragraphs (beginning, middle, end)
*I have thoroughly proofread my work
Activity description/steps:
Proofreading is super important when it comes to producing quality work. Mistakes happen all the time, especially if we’re rushing. Today, your goal is to proofread your writing from yesterday and publish an edited version to your class dojo. (If you were absent yesterday, have a look at the past lessons and do the writing assignment from 20/10)
You are to reread your story from yesterday and proofread it. Use the proper editing marks to show what you need to change will you read. Make sure you’re taking your time and looking out for mistakes (capital letters, proper punctuation, etc).
Once you have reread your story, is there anything you would like to change? Add? Now is the time to do so.
Now, re-write your story with all the corrections, additions, changes, etc.
Reread one last time before you publish your work. Make sure it looks pristine.
Publish your work to class dojo or email your teacher.
