Activity description/steps:
Students will explore the learning site and class dojo portfolio.
I have gone onto the Moana Remote Learning Website and read through my tasks
I have chosen a task to complete. Email your teacher if you require help with this task and they will be able to assist you.
Share your completed work with your teacher (this can be a doc, a picture, a google slide etc). Your teacher will tell you the best way to share this with them.
Extras for early finishers:
Take some photos of what your whānau members are doing while you’re busy with your school work today and share them with your teacher.
What am I learning?
To design and make a musical instrument
How can I make sure I am successful?
The instrument needs to make a sound, and be made from household materials
Activity description/steps:
1. Search your home for things that you could use to make the instrument (these could be toilet rolls, dried beans to make a shaker, a tissue box to make a mini guitar , and some cellotape scissors rubber bands or glue
2. Look at the materials you have and decide what instrument you could make, Could you make a shaker? A mini guitar? A mini drum?
3. Think carefully and draw a plan for your instrument on a piece of paper
4. Watch the youtube clip to get some inspiration.- do you have everything you need?
5. Get creating!

Can you sing along with or play a song with your instrument? We would love to see what you can do!

Activity description/steps:
Materials: Cookie/biscuit
Challenge: You only have 1 minute - place a cookie on your forehead. You have to use only your face muscles (no hands) to get it into your mouth.
Follow up:
Miss Chrisp can do it in 40 seconds. Complete the challenge and post a video of you beating Miss Chrisp’s time!
