Whichever idea you have chosen to expand on, your research can look a variety of ways. You could present your research using any of the following methods:
Tertiary students should aim for at least 300 words.
Accredited students should aim for 150 words.
All students should analyse the 'Make' and 'Method' AIMMEE elements from your inspiration
All students should include APA References for any ideas / images / information you include.
Don't get stuck doing research for multiple lessons in a row. If you researched last lesson, this lesson try to experiment with any techniques or ideas you considered. This should be a mostly practical task!
Once you have an idea, planning and sketching can be a quick way to explore what that idea might look like. It is also a good way to make sure you are starting to prepare the required materials for your project. You can hand draw these or go to kleki.com and draw there.
A framing plan is where you draw what the camera will see. It is a good chance to consider compositional tools, 'Make' and 'Method' parts of AIMMEE.
In addition to drawn plans, you might make a list of things you need or factors to consider for your project. Some ideas are shown below:
Requirements
Models
Tripod / Remote / Other Equipment
Lights / Flash / Reflectors
Considerations
Studio (when is it free)
When are friends available to help?
Time of day / upcoming weather for shooting
Transport to locations
Health and safety considerations
Contact Sheets are your proof that you completed your project and annotations help you to reflect on how you created them. They show the process and all the effort you have put in to get to your final photos so you are not just being marked on the final images. They also allow you to show your own creative eye and explain why you chose your favourites from all of your images.
You can learn to make contact sheets on Photoshop here or you can create them using contactsheetmaker.com.
You should have 3-5 final images for this project. They should be saved as PNG's and attached to Google classroom. They should also be included in your Google site which is how you will share the rest of your process for this task. On your site page, please label your final photos and make each final photo take up the full space on your page.
Make sure to complete the personal reflection as this is shows me that you understand the process you just went through.
Copy and paste your answers from your reflection in to your Google site.
You should get used to checking the rubrics that are available on Google classroom as these break down what you will be marked on. Below are some additional points based on assessments that have been completed in the past. They are applicable to accredited and tertiary students.
