The shell of my Nike Air Force 1s started to separate from the soles after wearing them for about a year and a half.

Hi Nike,
I hope you are well.
I am contacting you as my Air Jordan 1 lows are breaking. The top of the shoe is separating from the sole. I am disappointed in this as I deliberately purchased these shoes because the website described their premium leather and materials and highlighted durability. I have only worn the shoes once per week in rotation with other shoes and followed all care instructions. I also have worn them mainly on concrete footpaths and indoors on carpet as I am a school teacher.
The order number is G10105107527 and they were purchased on 14/01/2023. I understand that you only accept returns within 30 days but also that faulty items are covered under Australian Consumer Law which says that items are considered faulty if they do not last as long as one would expect that type of item to last, taking into account price, type of item and item description.
As I have taken care of the shoes, worn them infrequently, and they have not lasted much beyond a year when one would expect them to last several because of the premium materials, I am requesting a refund or exchange please.
I am happy to exchange the ones I have in-store, receive a new pair via shipment or receive a refund and order my own pair again.
Thank you for your time,
John.
Nike asked me to post the shoes back to them and provided me a free postage code.
One week later, I recieved a full refund + 15% off code
