Decide which equipment you need for your shoot. Consider which lens you will need.
Attend the Lake Tuggeranong Library to borrow out Media equipment.
You can borrow: A camera pack, a specific lens and / or a tripod.
Each camera pack contains:
1x Camera bag
1 x Camera
1x Battery
1x Battery Charger
1x SD card
1 x SD card reader
1x Camera body cap
You must return your media equipment within two days. If you borrow a camera pack on Friday, you should return it on Monday.
You can reserve media equipment via this link. If you want any items for more than two days, you must bring them to the library to be sighted by library staff. If they have not been reserved, then you can borrow again immediately.
If you loose or damage Media equipment, you will be expected to reimburse the school. Ensure that you are considering safety when using Media equipment off school property. Rough estimates of equipment value are provided:

Step 1
Search for the item to be booked, and then select the item you would like to reserve from this link or by visiting the LTC Library website.
Step 2
In the item details screen, click the all copies and locations link.
Step 3
On the next pack click the add button for the camera type you would like to make a booking for.
Step 4
Select the desired time slots and then click the save button. PLEASE NOTE: You will need to scroll down to a time when the LTC library is open.
Step 5
A confirmation message will appear in the lower left corner of the screen – you will also receive a confirmation email.
Insert the SD card in to your reader and plug the reader in to the USB port of the computer (the black box on the floor).
Using documents (the yellow icon on the toolbar), copy your content from the Drive (listed below Windows C on the left) and paste it in to a folder in your documents titled with the subject and year (e.g. Photography, Media or Graphic Design 2023).
Select all the content on the SD card and delete it. You do not want others to have your photos or videos.
Return the SD card, SD card reader, camera and batteries (or any other equipment) to their location.
Insert your content on your process journal, portfolio or final location.
Use the slot at the top left (when info is facing you)
Use the slot at the top back (when logo is facing you).
Get your teacher's permission to use the studio
When you enter the studio, it should be clear of everything except for:
1x Standing Mirror
4x Lights on stands
The first strip of the studio is black. You may leave your shoes on in this area if you are using the greenscreen next to the door or remaining on the black. Before walking on the white floor, please remove your shoes.
For everyone's safety, before leaving the studio:
Turn off power points
Move lights to left of door with no trailing cords
Remove personal belongings
Pack any additional equipment used back in to the Photography store-room
You can use school printers by sending documents and images to the 'Follow Me' printer
Use your student number in the 'ID number' section on the printer and then press 'Print' at the top middle of the panel
Consider going to print properties or settings to ensure the correct options:
-Paper size (A4 is standard)
-Double sided or not
-Colour or black and white
