Annotation helps you to engage with text and images and show your ideas succinctly. It can look like highlighting information or specific words, using text, colours or symbols to represent different ideas, adding short thoughts and questions alongside work. This can be an opportunity to convey more complex ideas with less words (e.g. principles of design or photographic compositional tools). It can also be used to note how a design has changed before and after review.
