Step by Step
Step 1: Sign in to Google and access Google Sites
Go to the Google homepage (www.google.com).
Click on the grid icon (top-right corner) and select "Sites" from the dropdown menu.
If prompted, sign in to your Google account or create a new account.
Step 2: Create a new site
Once you're on the Google Sites homepage, choose a template or click on the "+" button to create a blank site.
Choose a name for your site, such as "[Your Name]Portfolio." This should be your home page.
Step 3: Customise the site
After choosing the template, you'll be taken to the site editor.
Click on the "Untitled Page" section at the top left and change it to "About Me."
Add your personal information, text, images, or any other content you'd like to display on your About Me page.
Step 4: Create the Class Projects tab
On the navigation bar on the top right of your page, click on 'Pages.'Â
Click the three dots next to your main page and select "add subpage."
Enter a name for the new page, the first one should be "Class Projects."
Repeat this step to create additional subpages for each project item you want to include. Create another page called "Personal Project."
Step5: Customise each project or assessment subpage
Click on each subpage under "Class Projects" or "Personal Project" to edit its content.
Add project details, descriptions, images, or any other relevant information (we will do this as we go).
Step 6: Publish the site
Once you've customized your site and subpages, click on the "Publish" button in the top-right corner.
Provide your link on the google classroom upload space.
