What to expect from this unit?

In this unit, we will be learning about photographic genres and how the way we categorise photos affects what techniques we use, what meaning we portray and who our audiences are. We will focus on two broader ideas, places and people, and then hone in on some more specific genres related to this: architecture and nature, as well as portraits and events. By focussing on specific genres, we will push you to explore the types of photographs that you may not yet have experimented with, and also prepare you to have marketable skills in photographic industries.
