Inferior gemellus muscle

The inferior gemellus muscle is located inferior to  the tendon of the obturator internus m. and deep to the sciatic n.

Action: Lateral rotation of  femur

Innervation: Nerve to quadratus femoris

Origin: Ischial tuberosity

Insertion: Greater trochanter of femur
