Jugular foramen

A foramen that sits between the temporal and occipital bones in the posterior cranial fossa.  Allows passage of the sigmoid sinus (becoming the internal jugular v.), and CN IX (glossopharyngeal n.), CN X (vagus n.), and the descending part of CN XI (spinal accessory n.).
