Torus tubarius

The medial end of the eustachian (pharyngotympanic) tube is cartilagenous, and the torus tubarius is base of that tube, lying just deep to the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx, where if forms a rounded eminence.  Indicated in the figure by the black arrow.
