Middle cranial fossa

In between the anterior cranial fossa and the posterior cranial fossa, the middle cranial fossa contains the temporal lobe, the sella turcica, and many foraminae, nerves, and vessels.  It is enclosed by the sphenoid bone and some of the squamous parts of the temporal bones.
