Ethmoid bone

An unpaired, midline bone that sits between the sphenoid bone and the frontal bone.  Features of the ethmoid bone include the perpendicular plate (superiorly the crista galli, inferiorly part of the nasal septum) the cribriform plates, and the labyrinth (which includes the superior and middle nasal conchae).  

The ethmoid articulates with 13 different bones.
