Orbicularis oris m

The kissing muscle.  One of the muscles of facial expression, the orbicularis oris is innervated by the facial n. (CN VII).  The orbicularis oris m. is actually a complex of 4 different muscles, but ultimately they form a sphincter around the mouth and their action is to close the mouth and pucker the lips.
