Language Arts- Mrs. Phelps

This week, we will only have 3 days of class. We will use this time to work on some writing mechanics, specifically capitalization rules. We will also be reviewing all of the parts of speech we have learned. All of this will be great prep for the language usage MAP test the following week. We will also be fitting in some non-fiction reading about the Kentucky Derby and working on identifying main idea and key details while we read.
