Meet the Teacher

My name is Christina Crush, and I’m excited to be teaching your children at Ascension! This is my fifth year as the 5th Grade Homeroom teacher, and I teach Religion and Social Studies to students in grades 3–5.

I live in Louisville with my husband, Patrick, and our two children—Mary Catherine (5) and Patrick (3). I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sewing, exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish!

I earned my B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN, and my Master’s in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.

My goal this year is to create a warm and welcoming classroom where students are inspired to grow as Christian thought leaders—developing their faith, knowledge, and leadership skills in a supportive environment.
