Gravy Soppers
The Main Line Gravy Soppers Old Time String Band is based in Frederick County Maryland. The band plays old time tunes the old time way. The Soppers play at festivals, parties, street fairs, farmers' markets, coffee shops, and barn dances.
Rebecca Adams plays banjo in the style of the Roan Mountain Hilltoppers. She sings ballads in the old time style. She tells stories about geology and Ohio.
Jeff Adams builds driving dance rhythms on guitar. He is from way down south in Montgomery County Maryland. When not strumming, he helps the government snoop on dolphins.
Jason Miller fiddles the dance tunes and sings a few Grandpa Jones songs. When not playing the old time rhythms, he does old-fashioned genome research.
These folks are often joined by other great musicians from Frederick County Maryland.
Just remember our acronym: TMLGSOTSB!
Everybody likes soppin up the gravy.
