The Silence
A Dark Confession
Have you ever killed a human being? Of course not… I can tell. You see, after someone has taken human life you can see it in their eyes. You gaze past the colored pools into the black and look deep into their soul to see… nothing. How do I know you ask? Because I to am empty. But I am not complaining, oh no, far from it. I NEED it, I LONG for it. To hear the curdling cries of my victims as they fall before my feet, cold and silent. I am not like those rabid dogs who kill with guns and knives, or from their air conditioned offices whilst perched in their padded leather chairs signing white sheets of paper in bloodied ink… they disgust me. No… I kill with my hands! The feel of the meat and bone within my fingers grasp as I squeeze out the last breaths of a powdered air from their withering bodies. I must however confess that this is merely the path to witness my one true love… the one that keeps me coming back for more each and every night… it’s THE LOOK…the look of total fear and helplessness takes me into total ecstasy, sending my adrenaline speeding through my veins like a drug from a needle, coursing through my body. It’s the look when they realize that’s it…… THAT’S IT!
…and then… after the screams and the shouting, after the mayhem and fear, all that is left… is the deafening silence.

Tell me softly
That you’ll love me
For the rest of our lives
Let me kiss the
Tears on your face
You don’t have to cry
Just listen to me
When Im singing
Your lullaby
When I watch you sleeping
There’s no place on earth I’d rather be
I can feel your heart beating
And I know that it’s calling out to me
I don’t say this much
But I love your touch
More than words
Who needs heaven and
Who needs angels
When you’re in the world
When I watch you sleeping
There’s no place on earth I’d rather be
I can feel your heart beating
And I know that it’s calling out to me
And this is your lullaby
Your lullaby
Your lullaby
And this is your lullaby
Your lullaby
Your lullaby
When I watch you sleeping
There’s no place on earth I’d rather be
I can feel your heart beating
And I know that it’s calling out to me
I will keep you
Safe forever
Just close your eyes…
