One day, a company president was at her office.

picture1: One day the company president was at her office and observed that all employees were busy. She heard an employee complain that

the staff had been working too hard recently. This made the president think very hard.

picture2: A week later the president is seen placing a poster on the wall announcing plans for a company hiking trip. Two employees passing by looked to be very pleased with the notice.

picture3: On the trip, the president and her employees ate lunch on the mountains. They looked happy and a man said that they should do this again. Also, there were many other hikers on the mountains and garbage was scattered everywhere.

picture4: A month late, the president sat down in her lounge room and was reading a newspaper. In the newspaper, there was a picture showing trash scattered on the mountains. The heading for the article said, "Crowds of hikers damaging mountains". She looked very seriously.

Q1: I would be thinking that the newspaper article was correct, as on the day her employees went on the hike, there was a lot of rubbish on the mountains. She was pleased with the way her people had conducted themselves on that day. However, the message of the article would make her take whatever action she could to keep the mountains free from litter in the future.

Q2:Yes, i think it would be a good idea to be socializing with each other away from work. By getting know each other in a leisure environment, I think that we can co-operate and do our job more smoothly.

Q3:Yes, currently there are opportunities to get lots of information, and it is sometimes difficult to choose what is actually good for our health.

Q4:Local councils should provide the services for the disposal of household rubbish, with materials suitable for recycling kept separate. It would not make sense to have a limit on the amount of rubbish each household can put out as it has to be get rid of, to keep the area tidy and free from germs. If somebody is consistently generating a lot of waste maybe the council could impose a charge based on weight or volume.
