One day, the principal was walking around the school playground. He saw some boys playing soccer. While he was watching, one of the boys fell and hurt himself on the ground. The principal was very concerned.

When the principal got home that evening, he picked up the newspaper and came across an interesting article. It said that grass playground were safer because they caused fewer injuries. The principal thought that he should try it at his school.

Six months later, the school had a new grass playground, and the principal was glad to see the children playing safely.

However, the next summer, there was a sign saying that the playground was closed for annual maintenance. The grass in some parts of the ground had died, and there was a man working on the damaged area. The principal explained to some disappointed students that they would not be able to use the ground for a month.
